For more information http://andis.jamberrynails.net/Visit Andi for all of your Jamberry needs!

This is a video of our “how to” video on applying Jamberry Nail Wraps…or maybe I should hot NOT to apply Jamberry nails, but if this video proves anything, it’s that ANYONE can successfully apply Jamberry nail wraps! Literally anyone. Here are instructions that might help you out…and below that are some tips and tricks that might have helped us out had we followed the sheet that our Jamberry consultant, Andi sent me…Sorry, Andi!

To apply:
1. Clean nails rubbing alcohol.
2. Hold the sheet over your nail to decide which width will best fit your nail.
3. Using the cuticle pusher  peel back the nail shield you want and cut it in half or to the approximate length of your nail.
4. Hold the nail shield  up to heat source for several seconds until you can tell that it is soft and pliable.
5. Stick the nail shield to your nail, applying pressure all over the nail and smoothing out any air bubbles
6. Cut off and file any excess

Here is some info from the Jamberry FAQ section that I found super helpful!

Please allow 6-10 business days for your order to ship.

Nail Wraps

How many wraps are on each sheet of nails?

One regular sheet includes 18 Jamberry nail wraps. One sheet of Jamberry Juniors wraps include 42 nail wraps.

How many applications does one sheet provide?

One regular sheet of nail wraps can be used for two to three applications, depending on the size and length of your nails. One sheet of Jamberry Juniors can be used for up to six applications.

How long will my nail wraps last?

Jamberry nail wraps last up to 2 weeks on fingers and 4 weeks on toes.

Nail Wrap Application

Do I have to use a mini-heater to apply my Jamberry nail wraps?

You must use a heat source when applying your Jamberry nail wraps. We recommend using our Jamberry Mini-Heater, but you may also use a blow-dryer or other safe heat source.

Do I need to apply a base or top coat?

You do not have to apply a top or base coat when using Jamberry nail wraps. If you have bumpy or uneven nails, you may want to use our Jamberry Smoothing Base Coat or other ridge filling base coat. If you’re very active you may consider applying a thin line of nail glue along the edges.

Do I have to be certified to apply Jamberry nail wraps?

No! Our DIY at home application process makes it possible for anyone to apply Jamberry nail wraps.

My wraps are starting to lift, but have only been on a few days. Can I re-heat them to seal them back to my nail?

If your wraps start lifting after only a few days they may not have been applied correctly. A proper application will ensure longer wear time. Re-heating may not help seal them to your nail. We recommend removing the nail wraps and applying a new one, paying particular attention to the application process. Click HERE to view our Application & Removal and Tips & Tricks videos.

What if my nail is too big or too small for the nail wraps?

If your nails do not fit exactly to any of the sizes of nail wraps, you can use the next size up and trim the wrap down to fit your nail bed. We recommend using a wrap that is just smaller than your nail to avoid the wraps touching skin or cuticles. Using a wrap that is too large and over laps onto your skin or cuticles may cause lifting at the edges.

Can I go swimming while wearing the nail wraps?

Yes. The adhesive on nail wraps are pressure and heat sensitive and create a waterproof seal if they are applied correctly.

What do you mean by “correct” application?

  1. Applying the nail wraps to a clean dry nail, free of nail polish.
  2. Using enough heat.
  3. Using enough pressure.
  4. Making sure the nail wraps is solely on the nail bed and not the cuticle or skin.
  5. Making sure the edges of the nail wraps are sealed to the nail.

The story of Jamberry Nails…

The storyof Jamberry Nails begins with three sisters who possess distinct personal tastes, but share a love for style. After an expensive afternoon together at the nail salon, Lyndsey, Christy and Keri vowed to find a simpler, more cost effective way to keep their hands looking polished, while still spending time together.

After lots of trial and error, the proprietary nail wraps of Jamberry Nails launched in late 2010. The DIY, at-home application and incredible variety of designs caught on quickly and sales soared. A new era of nail art was born.

Gone are the days of nails that chip and flake after only a few days! Gone are the days of the single colored manicure. Gone are the mani/pedis that take all afternoon and most of your cash too! Jamberry nail wraps arm you with style and confidence while demanding very little of your time or money. “

I’m sorry…I had to.

Andi was sweet enough to send us these wraps to review, however, these opinions are our own.
