Renuzit Pearl Scents – Home Style Challenge

Recently I was challenged by Renuzit Pearl Scents to take $50 to Marshalls and come up with a new look for an area of my home that needed a bit of sprucing up. I gladly accepted this challenge and decided to liven up my entry way where my family stores some of their outdoor/chore shoes, an area that is the fist thing you see, but doesn’t always look OR smell the best.

Renuzit recently introduced Pearl Scents, which are available in the scents: Blue Sky Breeze, Sparkling Rain, Serenity, Tranquil, and Seductive Pineapple, which last up to 30 days!! I chose the Blue Sky Breeze for my little project. These Pearls are a lovely blue color and I decided to start from there!

I set up a scene on our already existing shoe organizer/junk drawer/ I purchases a lovely votive holder which I made use by setting my Pearls on. I chose to remove the outer wrapper in this area, though I do think the wrapper is rather lovely and has a quite nice design and have left them on in the other locations I have them placed in my home.

Next I chose to beautiful picture frames, one that features the two key colors I used in this scheme, mustard yellow and blue…and the other a gold frame that I placed mustard scrapbook paper in so that I can write messages to the family and have them notice it right away when entering our home! I also placed a gold pair of birds that sort of play off of the theme of my connected living room, which features owls and various birds.

I really feel that the whole thing came out rather nicely, I am not always the best at decorating in matching themes/schemes, but I do think this all flowed together rather well and featured my Renuzit Pearl Scents beautifully! Now my family and guests are not only greeted by a beautiful display, but a beautiful smell as well…no longer are stinky work boots the first thing that greet you in this home!!

In addition to the entry way, I thought I would throw in a couple of mustard colored pillows to liven up my boring sofa and again play off the color scheme I used in the nearby entry way…I feel that it definitely added a liveliness that my living room was lacking and flowed quite beautifully.

I am so glad that I was given the opportunity to participate in this challenge, and was introduced to the beauty that is the Renuzit Pearl Scents…they have livened my home up with color and an amazingly fresh fragrance that shines right along their beautiful design!
