Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle
My first review is for Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle!
Sheila G’s The Original Brownie Company was nice enough to send me four 4 oz bags of delicious ( oops did I give the ending away? ) Brownie Brittle to try! Please read on, because one of you will have the chance to have four bags sent to you as well!!
When I learned that I would be receiving four bags in flavors Chocolate Chip, Mint Chocolate Chip, Toffee Crunch, and Salted Caramel I was super excited and anxious to try them…Brownie Brittle I thought, what in the world could it be? What would it taste like? When the package arrived I was super excited…finally here ( ok, there shipping was SUPER fast…I was just anxious! ) Immediately my kids were all over the box and drooling, because the photographs on the packages look amazing! We decided to try the Salted Caramel first because, oh my goodness… Salted Caramel?!? We definitely made the right decision! Holy cow…the fact that these crisp squares are not actual brownies is MIND BLOWING! Seriously, they taste JUST LIKE amazing bakery brownies! Only they are like the crispy edges that are my favorite! I was amazed, the kids were amazed! I don’t think they left me alone for one waking minute until every crumb was gone…seriously. We loved them. It was also unanimous that all flavors were spectacular and are now our new favorite treat, but that the Salted Caramel was to die for, and our very favorite!
So now information about these spectacular treats!
Here is some fun information taken from the back of the package!
“In 1992, Sheila G. Mains, better known in the food business as Sheila G, took a treasured family recipe for fudge brownies and baked her way into a thriving business. You may even have tasted one of her rich, dense squares of heaven at some of our nation’s finest restaurants and theme parks. So, where exactly did the inspiration for her scrumptious new Brownie Brittle™ snack come from?
Like many brownie aficionados, Sheila is particularly fond of the crispy edges. In fact, on many an afternoon she would walk through the bakery gathering the crispy batter off the sides of the sheet pans as the chocolate brownies cooled in their racks. It had that same rich chocolate taste, but with an amazing crunch. That started her wondering: How could she create a whole pan of crunchy edges? Well, lucky for us, she figured it out! Now you too can satisfy your sweet tooth in a snap with Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle™ snacks!”
Isn’t that awesome?! They are also made with All Natural Ingredients and were Awarded the Best New Snack by NCSA 2012-2013! ( Believe me, I know why! ) They are also a sponsor for Cookies for Kids Cancer! Even sweeter
