Sisters Gourmet Mrs Claus Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix Review

I received a Mason jar Mrs Claus Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix from Sisters Gourmet to try and was SUPER excited! I love Christmas and I love cookies and so does literally everyone else in my home! My kids were super duper excited when I showed them the jar, and two cute little tubes of Reindeer food that Sisters Gourmet sent along as well ( those got put up in the cabinet for later, but they were amazed! ) We decided to make our cookies on a rainy Saturday when we were stuck in the house to brighten up our day a little…we got out the other necessary ingredients, turned on Pandora to listen to Christmas tunes and got to work! I let my kids do almost all of the work and they absolutely had a ball! They were quite impressed that all of the dry ingredients were packed into this jar…so was I ! We really thought making these cookies were a breeze, the only issue we had was when we got to the chocolate section and the kids had to have me bust that bit out of the jar…it was a little tricky, but nothing too bad 😉  We popped them in the oven and the kiddos could barely contain their excitement to try out the cookies that THEY made! The scent filled the house which made the anticipation even stronger, and when we pulled those babies out of the oven I could tell immediately they were going to taste just as good as they smelled…and they did! We literally ate every single cookie that night! 😉  ( though I think my husband had a lot to do with that! 😛 )  We loved these cookies and think that these would be perfect to give as gifts, which we very well may do this Holiday Season which is fastly approaching! They also have a WIDE variety of other mixes for Christmas, as well as for other occasions, such as just wanting to eat some yummy yummy cookies 😉 I also think that it is totally adorable that they offer bright and cheerful “Thank You!”  jars ! What a sweet idea and I know that anyone would absolutely love love love to receive one in the mail as a sweet surprise!

Here is a little back info on the Sisters Gourmet Company Taken from their website :
“Baking a difference since 1995

We grew up baking together. Our Mom often welcomed us home from school with homemade cookies, fresh from the oven. There was, and still is, something special about walking into a home filled with the scent of baking in the air. That’s why we love to bake, and want other to experience that same special feeling in the home.

From the beginning, when we first prepared our mixes in our home kitchen, to now, over fifteen years later, our goal has been to make baking easy and convenient, with simple to prepare, one-bowl recipes, leaving you less time in the kitchen and more time with your family and friends. Our commitment has also been to offer you the highest quality ingredients available, many of which are all-natural, made without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Mom used to always tell us that, “Good things come to those who bake.” We like to think she was right.”
