My kids are snackers. They love to snack throughout the day, and honestly, they come by it pretty naturally. Recently I took to searching out healthy snacks that I can feel ok about. As luck would have it, I was introduced to Organic Slammers by a friend who raved about how delicious they were, that they were full of good stuff, including veggies, and the fact that her niece just loved them.
I knew we had to try them!
We tried six flavors, two Protein Slammers in: Pomegranate Grape Crush ( grape, pomegranate, coconut, apple, banana and purple carrot ) and Watermelon Kiwi Burst (strawberry, kiwi, watermelon, apple, banana, and beet) and four Superfood Slammers: Awesome ( bananas, blueberries, strawberries, beets, acai and amaranth), Pumped (banana, mango, butternut squash, ancient grains and cinnamon), Chill’n ( bananas, blueberries, butternut squash, Greek yogurt and yumberry ) and Epic(mangoes, bananas, carrots, orange Greek yogurt and real vanilla)!
The kids were especially fond of Awesome and Pumped, but weren’t too big on the Pomegranate Grape Crush, though I thought it was pretty darn delicious! And when I say pretty fond, I mean in love. They adore these little Slammers pouches and ate through them a little more quickly than I should probably admit!
But besides being tasty, these Slammers are made from ingredients grown on certified organic farms, they have no sugar added AND have no artificial ingredients! They are also packed with tons of nutrients, and I think that’s something you can feel GOOD about your kids snacking on…not the dreaded guilt that comes from them chowing down on chemical filled crap ( just to be honest! 😉 ).
These are a snack that I feel great about giving my kids and they feel great about eating. Gone are the days of feeling guilty and worrying about what is in the junk they are eating. Hooray!
