For the last 40 years the First Years have been providing quality baby and toddler products to all of us Moms and Dads out there looking for high quality, safe, affordable options for our kids! I have purchased many many products throughout the last 11 years for my children and have always been very satisfied, but I have to say that I feel that The First Years have really stepped up their game recently! Not only have they really catered to the needs of children and their parents, but everything looks absolutely adorable as well!

Mr. Augie was sent a ton of adorable items to test out and give his opinion on and he wants to let everyone know he is VERY pleased. What you see above is him eating his lunch in his new favorite bowl which suctions to his highchair tray…and let me tell you this is a feature that Mommy loves! I have tried suctioned products in the past without having very good results, but this bowl ( and the plate we received as well ) DO stick to the tray! He is also using The First Years utensils and sippy cup! The utensils are a VERY nice sturdy quality, so unlike the flimsy plastic kind we have used in the past! And the sippy cup is not only cute, but it REALLY is spill proof! I know that having a spill proof cup is like the holy grail to mothers of toddlers…and I do believe I have found it! We were sent two different packs, each contain two cups and are the Simple Sippy and the Simple Straw Sippy. He really enjoys both types and both are entirely spill proof…though he does prefer the straw version because he absolutely loves chewing on the straw! 😉 No worries though, the straws have held up perfectly and have suffered no damage!

We are both absolutely in love with all of the products they sent, and I especially love that I can let him sit in his high chair in our living room so that he can look outside while he eats ( something he really enjoys ), without worrying about him throwing his plate/bowl onto the carpet or him spilling milk onto my rug!

I love that these products are BPA free, dishwasher safe as well as the fact the the cups and lids are stackable and interchangeable!

Next, Mr. Augie received something that we as a family had been somewhat dreading for the last few months…A potty chair! This potty chair is absolutely adorable! It looks like a cute little fire engine! It even has wheels! ( no they aren’t functional 😉 that’s the first thing my older son made sure of! ) With all of its adorableness it is still a bit frightening 😉 I wondered how he would take to the chair and if he would be ready…we decided to start slow, clothes still on, potty chair in the living room, no pressure! The kids loves it! He giggles every time that he sees it, has absolutely no fear when we sit him down to try to tinkle!

While I do believe we will be in the potty training process for quite some time, I do feel he is ready and totally willing–and I can thank The First Years for making potty training so much more fun and less scary! There are several other cute options for girls and boys that are sure to make little ones feel at ease and excited to sit on the potty!

I would like to give a great big thanks to The First Years for sending us all of these fantastic products to try out and give our honest opinion on…it’s been a lot of fun and I know Augie is glad to have had the opportunity!
